SISTERS IN FREYAS' MOON
PRESENTS

THE GODDESS SOPHIA

BY LADY SOPHIA
Wisdom is calling us, Sophia is calling
Raising her voice, she stands by the city gates,
at the crossroads, on the mountain top.
At every entrance she is standing, shouting
to us:  "Oh people,"  she calls,  "learn from me!
Listen to me, for I speak nothing but truth.
Know my ways, for they are richer than silver.
Know my secrets, and you do not need gold.
Listen to me, my words are more precious than rubies.
My words are riper than figs, sweeter than dates,
more nourishing than apples and olives.
Kings and princes and careful judges know me,
and so do those who simply love knowledge.
Follow me on the path to truth.
Follow me to the way to justice."
_ Proverbs 7 - 9

indecision
By Lady Sophia

Items that you will need:  A chalice, or special
glass, or cup,  a bottle of natural spring water,  a
purple candle,  oil of your choice for anointing the
candle,  an athame or another ritual tool to
inscribe the candle with,  sage incense.

Before beginning the ritual set up your altar with
all of the needed supplies.  Pour the spring water
in to your chalice while asking the Goddess to
bless the water with wisdom and knowledge.

Using your athame or other ritual tool, inscribe
the the words" wisdom comes to me"  on your
purple candle.  Then anoint the candle with the
oil of your choice.

Smudge the room with sage incense for
purification,  then cast the circle in your usual
manner.

Call Sophia , Goddess of Wisdom in to your sacred
space with the following invocation, or use one of
your own.

Dear Sophia,  Goddess of the wise, please bless
me with your presence  in my sacred ritual.
Please fill my circle with your wisdom and your
knowledge, please manifest my desires.  Thank
you dear Lady for being with me and blessing my
life today.

Stand in front of your altar and light the purple
candle, recite the following incantation:
"Wisdom please come to me
So that I can clearly see!

May your knowledge fill me up
As I drink from this holy cup!

Pick up your chalice and slowly sip the spring
water, while envisioning the liquid filling your
body and mind with wisdom and knowledge.

Now repeat the following incantation:

Indecision is no more!
Because Sophia has opened her door!

All that seemed unclear
Now comes as wisdom draws near!

With harm to none
May it be done!

So mote it be
by the power of three!

Now spend some time in meditation listening to
wisdom's voice.

Raise the cone of power using the following chant:

Wisdom comes to me today!
Wisdom has come to stay!

Send the cone of power out in to the world, so
that all may know the wisdom of the Goddess!

Ground and release your circle, making sure to
thank Sophia for her blessings!
